Bridgers v1.1 Launched!


Written for the 2020 24-hour RPG contest on RPGGeek, Bridgers is a game designed around diceless play, with a nod towards some strategy and uncertainty even without dice.  It is a game of the unappreciated hero, fighting for those that view them as a dangerous force and actively hunt them.  Outgunned and with a lack of support, Bridgers can only count on those closest to them to back them in this fight, and it's one that they cannot run from, as they see signs of it every day in the city, and are a true threat to the forces of invasion.

The system makes use of pools that degrade as the Bridger expends them, creating a sense of increasing desperation as resources run short.  The method that the Bridger uses to solve problems defines them as much as the Traits that they carry, and can be used for strong narrative hooks and meaningful stories.

Version 1.1. is a complete first revision of the game; after finishing, I ran with a small group and they enjoyed it!  I did see room for improvement, so expect this to be updated as I put it through more rounds of testing, and please, give your feedback on parts that work, and parts that don't work.
